Inline with the UAE's commitment to providing best healthcare and medical education services to the region, the inaugural Paediatric Care & Behavioural Health conference supported by the Emirates Society for Child Mental Health will take place on 24 & 25 February 2017 in Dubai, UAE. This CME accredited conference is chaired by Dr. Ammar Albanna, President of Emirates Society for Child Mental Health (EMA).

The conference covers clinical updates on a paediatrician's role in the identification and treatment of childhood behavioural and mental health disorders such as autism, ADHD, anxiety, hearing disorders, depression, trauma and anxiety to name a few. The aim is to share competencies, skills and knowledge needed by primary care clinicians (PCC) to address mental heath problems prevalent among children and adolescents whilst promoting the continuing education of PCCs in the Middle East region.

The Paediatric Care & Behavioural Health conference will bring together leading psychologists, paediatricians, family doctors and other professionals responsible for tackling development and behavioural health issues, giving an opportunity to share and discuss some of the innovations and treatments that can improve the mental health and well being of children and young people while reducing the social stigma.
